When Jack (Nicolas Cage) is on his mother's deathbed, he promises her never to marry someone. Because of that promis he doesn't want to commit himself. Finally Jack and Betsy (Sarah Jessica Parker) decide to cut the knot and went to Vegas to get married afterall. In Vegas, Jack tries to delay the marriage in many ways. When Jack falls into bad company he loses $ 65.000,00 in a poker game. The winning person is the professional gambler Tommy Korman (James Caan). He is willing to remit his debt for one weekend with Jack's fiancee Betsy. They agree and Betsy and Tommy leave together. A very jealous jack runs after the couple and tries to disturb their weekend. Honeymoon in Vegas is a great comedy with a great cast.
