Beschreibung zum Buch

Enrique Olvera is a globally respected chef and pioneer of contemporary, authentic Mexican food that is now an essential part of the international gastronomy conversation. He is fueled by a constant exploration of Mexico's ingredients and culinary history and he is a true visionary.

In Mexico from the Inside Out, Olvera shares his passion for his heritage, his restaurant experience, and what drives him as he creates new dishes.

His book includes sixty-five recipes, with sophisticated dishes from his Mexico City restaurant Pujol as well as approachable recipes representing what he likes to eat and cook at home. With hundreds of photographs one for every recipe and a showcase of the vivid Mexico City landscape-his book is a tribute to tradition and culinary innovation.

In 2000, at the age of 24, Enrique Olvera opened Pujol, named the number one restaurant in Mexico by The World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards.

Food & Wine named him one of the "10 Next Chef Superstars". In Mexico, he also owns Eno, Maiz de Mar, and Moxi. His New York restaurant Cosme was awarded three stars by the New York Times. Olvera is the founder of Mesamerica, an international food symposium. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and lives in Mexico City and New York.
